DSI Studios is an independent rehearsal / recording facility located close to Bruce Grove station. It is an independent, co-operatively owned, volunteer run space offering a combination of quality equipment, large rehearsal spaces and low cost. The premises has been recently refurbished throughout and better soundproofing as well as many new pieces of equipment have been added to our large, fully-equipped practice rooms. Measuring approx. 7m x 4m each, the roomhire rate includes PA, amplifiers and full drumkit. We also have a recording facility including in-house engineers offering a range of services including vocal recording, live drum recording, post- production, mixing, composition, music tuition, full live sound and backline hire; contact us to discuss. All recording and mixing areas are fully acoustically treated. We have worked with clients to record many styles of music, from gospel to punk, hip-hop and jazz – all are welcome.
