The Big House

The Big House is a charity working with young people at risk of social exclusion. We use theatre as a tool to build confidence, develop life skills and increase opportunities. Our transformative programmes provide a platform for young people facing challenging circumstances to participate in the making of theatre and to have their voices heard. We are committed to unlocking our members’ potential and enabling them to lead positive and fulfilling lives.The inspiration for our plays are the stories our members share with us, and we continue to support them after they have taken part in our projects to help them progress into employment, education and training.
