The Society Room is on the ground floor at the bottom end of the Stanley Arts complex. It is a lovely bright space with lots of windows on both sides. It is ideally suited to daytime rehearsals, meetings, conferences and exercise classes. It can also be hired for small scale parties and catered events in the evenings.
The space has its own entrance via Cumberlow Avenue on the side of Stanley Arts and also benefits from direct access to a small kitchen from the back of the hall. There is a basic PA and more equipment can be supplied for your events should you need it. With a kitchen nearby and its own toilet it is a great self-contained space for all sorts of family events. Different tables, both small rounds and long trestles, are available for seated events.
With four large mirrors on wheels the Society Room is also ideally suited for dance rehearsals and classes.
